SOURCES OF THE PHOTOGRAPHS






The photographs included in these pages come from many dispersed sources such as various books, publications, archives and collections (notably Yad Vashem, The Holocaust Martyrs' and Heroes' Remembrance Authority, Jerusalem, and The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, Washington, DC).

In almost all cases the primary sources of the photographs are unknown, frequently being German ones of the time. The sources of the photographs shown here are as follows:
